Propsafe™ started with one simple moment—a near accident that changed everything.

After a long, fun-filled day on the lake, our family was back home cleaning the boat. The kids were playing in the garage, laughing and chasing each other around, just like they always do. In an instant, our youngest son rounded the corner and slipped—heading face-first toward the exposed propeller. It was a moment that stopped us cold. Thankfully, he didn’t get hurt—but the realization of what could’ve happened shook us to the core. I grabbed whatever I could—buckets, boxes—anything to cover the prop. But nothing was practical or safe.

Over the next few days, the joy of the weekend kept coming back to me—but so did the close call. I kept asking myself: “What could I put around the prop to protect the kids?” That single thought sparked an idea—and that idea became Propsafe™. At first, the goal was simple: protect our family. We weren’t thinking about starting a business. But once we saw how much peace of mind it gave us—and realized how many other families might be facing the same risk—we knew we had to share it.
